Scrambling prickly shrub or trailing plant, with bright green wrinkled foliage, terminal bunches of flowers, and edible berries Dec - Apr.
A hardy and very spiky scrambler. Can be pruned. Grow under trees, or in full sun with sufficient access to water.
Indigenous name: EEPAEEP (Coranderrk)
The fruit can be eaten raw or used in sauces and jams. Raspberry leaf tea was used as a gargle for sore throats, and to ease pain.
