Low growing perennial non-woody plants with colourful flowers, botanically called perennial herb. Perfect en masse in rockeries and cottage gardens and come in many forms ie: clumping, spreading, lily, and rosette, best pruned after flowering.

Clumping - mature plant to 50cm
Spreading - mature plant to 50cm high, spreading to 50-80cm wide
