Perennial herb with a solitary turnip-like tuber that regenerates annually, with dandelion-like tufted foliage and single daisy flowerheads on stalks to 50cm.
Grow under established trees in dappled shade, is suitable for a rockery or cottage garden, or plant in pots and containers.
Indigenous name: MURNONG (Woi Wurrung)
Tubers roasted or cooked in baskets and eaten. Tubers can also be eaten raw.
