Dense, upright shrub or tree with fibrous bark, small grey-green foliage and masses of flowers followed by small woody fruits.
Used as a screen or hedge, or feature plant. Prune to maintain shape and encourage new growth.

Twigs and branches used for spears and digging sticks. Leaves used as medicine for breathing difficulties.
